There’s a new law jourÂnal in town:
The  (IFOSS L. Rev.) is a colÂlabÂoÂraÂtive legal pubÂliÂcaÂtion aimÂing to increase knowlÂedge and underÂstandÂing among lawyers about Free and Open Source Software issues. Topics covÂered include copyÂright, licence impleÂmenÂtaÂtion, licence interÂpreÂtaÂtion, softÂware patents, open stanÂdards, case law and statuÂtory changes.
via the International Free and Open Source Software Law Review.
Cearta.ie adds some more details:
It is a peer reviewed bianÂnual jourÂnal for high-level analyÂsis and debate about Free and Open Source Software legal issues, and it will receive finanÂcial and adminÂisÂtraÂtive supÂport from the NLNet Foundation, which supÂports orgaÂniÂzaÂtions and peoÂple that conÂtribute to an open inforÂmaÂtion sociÂety. Edited by Andrew Katz and Amanda Brock, its focus includes copyÂright, licence impleÂmenÂtaÂtion, licence interÂpreÂtaÂtion, softÂware patents, open stanÂdards, case law and statuÂtory changes. Unsurprisingly, it operÂates a strong Open Access Policy, proÂvidÂing immeÂdiÂate open access to its conÂtent on the prinÂciÂple that makÂing research freely availÂable to the pubÂlic supÂports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
So what’s in the first ediÂtion? Here’s the (very interÂestÂing) table of conÂtents:
